Making a combo isn't as hard as you think. Okay so follow these easy steps:
1.) Open your skills list by pressing "R". A new window will pop up. This is your skills list.
2.)Now go to the bottom of the window and press new.
3.) Now there is a window that pops up. This is where you will make your combo.
4.) So on the window on the right pick any image that you like.(lol that rhymes) I chose a random flower thing.
5.) Now move a skill from your active skills list to one of the empty slots on the right window. Keep in mind the cooldown time for the skills. Any interference will cause the combo to stop all together.
Complete it in a way that pleases you. Like this:
Then press save.
6.) Your combo is now made. The only thing that you need to do at point is... Move your combo from the combo list to your skill bar.
Voila you have your combo. Now click on a monster and press the combo and just let it do its thing.
To edit a combo: Press the combo icon and then press edit and follow steps 4-6.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
* Buffs and movement can sometimes stop buffs.
* You should never target something else while in the middle of the combo( it may end it).
* Also do not double click a combo(if the cooldown for the first move in the combo is not done the combo wil stop.)
* If put the "Walk Behind Enemy" thing in the first slot and the combo will repeat itself.
* Keep in mind the cooldown time because the combo does not wait for cooldown time, unless you put all the same skills in a row.
Thank you for reading this. And enjoy your new combo!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Next up is weapon crafting.
Soon after you have played for a few levels you will be able to create your own armours weapons potions and jewelry.
You will receive a quest from the elder to see one of the following depending on what you decided to be. if toy want to make armour you'll go to tailor. Weapons go to the black smith.
If you can't find them don't worry, just press "Q" and select the mission you are doing you should see a yellow arrow pointing to the npc of which you must see. Follow the arrow to the destination and pick up the quest.
It will require you to get some mats, don't worry it's not to hard and they are fairly easy to find.
go to the merchandiser and buy the little shovel scythe looking thingy on the second page then you are good to go.
D: you take the mats back and you are given a weird book thingy which you take to the elder and then TADA you have become a level 1 (what ever craft you picked)
You can then begin harvesting.
Remember, wood, herbs, cotton and mines are all needed as well as leathers and glues. (just check the required items.)
things like leather cotton and glues are dropped by mobs.
at higher levels you'll be able to craft weapons that glow green from special mats from a dungeon (it's called HH in the MY version dunno if it will the same on the int)
These wepons you can craft are level 60 +
Certain dungeons called fb's (called FB on the MY version dunno if will be same on int)
have bosses which drop a molder that can create a gold item.
they sell for allota $$ (chaching sound)
In those images you can see a mold and and HH item.
Take note the HH item has a stone in it that adds more power to the wep (Power to the people!!)
you can take a stone to a synthesis guy and merge it for example, 4 grade 5 stones to make 1 grade 6. But need 4 grade 6's to make 1 grade 7. Understand? (i hear some of you don't)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Moving on. Toooo
QURSTS! I mean.. QUESTS!
When you think you have ran out of quests don't be so fast to pout. for there is a button. *dramatic drumroll*
press "Q" and search mission.
It should tell you the name of the npc of who wants to see you but more importantly the cords..
Let me guess, you don't know how to use the cords?
Well it's quite easy.
You go to the mini map in the corna of the screen.
Press the green arrow at the bottom, see where the numbers are you then type in your numbers, name the location and it should become a blue dot on the mini map.
like this but..it's all a mess really xD
At the start quests are your main exp provider, do not try getting out of them, later in levels you'll wish you had more.
the exp gets hard and you must grind!
But once you are in your 30's you'll get a daily stone quest. you just go but the stones from the synthesis dude and bring them back to eunice.
you wait a few mins and tada, rewarded with exp. And also after level 60 you can do a trumble quest, you just decide on the mob you want to kill and you kill it after 60 mins you get ep and rep.
^^
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Moving on!
Pet rides, and aviation devices!
After level 30 you can do a quest for aviation devices.
Of which allow you to fly around perfect world.
The BM/WIZ's get flying swords
The BB/VM's Get animal's
The CLC's/ARC's always have wings.
(note the beast and wings was cash shop bought and not the level 30 version)
As for the land mounts, any class can use, as long as you're level 40, and not scared of spending a little $ as in game gold or cash shop D:
there is a variety of mounts to decide from, so it is just really your pick and depending how fast you want to go.
Unlike the air rides thy level and gain exp the more you ride them.
once they hit level 11 they will be at their max.
you can hold and kiss each other on the flying and ground devices, so it's all good, can you not picture it you and this VM (you hope is a girl) on an elephant going across a beach then flying into the sky on your sword.
*violin playing*
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOW then fashion!
Where would a perfect world be without fashion eh? well from level 10 you can start wearing the fashion!
(though not much to decide from)
then level 20 a bit more and level 30 a bit more.
you can wear dresses to long coats to kinky looking clothing to delicate princess style. they even have swim stuff.
id post but i think once you start playing you'll see.
You can dye and mix up fashion items.
D: some fashion only requires one dye others can cost up to 12 dyes. So staying cute is kinda pricey sometimes.
You can normally find the dye person near the tailor in major cities.
Just drag the fashion item with the dye in and tada it's changed colour.
Simple.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nearly forgot.
Skill points aka SP.
you need them to learn skills, you go to you skill trainer. (located in your town) and obtain a skill or skill upgrade from there, skills can go
to level 10, and require upgrades as you level, and cultivation gets higher.
You have to use SP and gold to obtain a skill.
So buy wisely.
you gain SP from killing mobs and quests.

1. General
Q: What is PW?
A: Stands for perfect world. The game you should be playing if your reading this
Q: I CANT READ TEXT! HALP!
A: In the bottom left click on the rubix cube and then uncheck bold.
Q: How can i see X chat in another chat tab?
A: Click on the rubix cube in the bottom left. On the pop-up you can see a list on the left and a list on the right. The list on the left is the tabs and the list on the right is what you can see in that tab. Choose what you wish.
Q: I cant see any text on my box... How can i change its color?
A: Bottom left there is a box with 4 color on it. Click it and it will change the background color of your text box. There is only 3 options. Hovering over the text box also makes it 100-200% darker.
Q: How do i PM (Private msg) someone?
A: use this format
Code:
/Nameofplayer YourMsg
Q: How do i jump?
A: Space bar
Q: How can i find X for this quest?!
A: Use ****************** for the quest guides which have locations. If its an exact location, in the top right near the radar there is a button with the arrow (should be furthest right) click that. In the pop-up, in the top right theres a spot for coords. Enter them there, and click add (should be right of the coord box). Now you can follow the arrow on screen or check the map.
Q: How many locations can i have?
A: 5
Q: The map sucks. Its to small.
A: Click on the map and it will bring up a bigger and more detailed version.
Q: Whats this yellow bar thingy under my MP?
A: Thats 'Chi'. Some skills only require MP but some also need Chi.
Q: How do I increase my Chi?
A: For every time you hit a mob, it goes up by 5. A faster way is to find someone of the opposite sex ingame and right click their portrait and click 'Hoist cuddle' and have them click 'Intimate' .
Q: I got this little red thingy next to my vigor bar. Now whats that?
A: That is fury (different name for PWI?) . After level 30, some skills need that to be used.
Q: My god, why the hell don't you tell me how to get fury in the question above?
A: Its fun like this. Now, to get fury you need to achieve 100 Chi and it will fill the fury up and then you can gain an additional 99 Chi so you can essentially have 199 vigor or 1 fury and 99 vigor or 2 fury if you hit one more time after you use fury.
Q: How do i take screenshots?
A: Press 'Prt Scr' next to the F12 button. Its saved in 'Perfectworld/Element/Screenshots'
Q: How do I remove my HUD?
A: Alt+H
Q: How do I move my zoom around?
A: Press F9
Q: I heard at 30 you can fly, is this true?
A: Yes, once you hit 30 you can start a quest to get a flying mount. The were race gets a stingray, the elves get wings and humans get surfboard swords.
Elves get wings starting at level 1. Please note that the skill for faster fly speed ONLY applies to those starter wings. Cash shop wings ARE NOT AFFECTED
Q: Someone has a different looking mount! How do i get one?
A: The item mall has 3 different flying mounts for each race. 2 for level 30 and 1 for lvl 50.
Q: I also heard there is different mounts not available yet, what are they?
A: This is true. They are available on different servers. If you wish to see what they look like, please look here: http://******************/forums/showthread.php?t=3264
Q: I also heard you can have 'fashion' items (AKA Clothes). What are these?
A: Its like armor, but no stats and alot of people think it looks better than normal armor.
Q: How do i get fashion?
A: Buy from people or from the item mall. There is also some that can be obtained from winning events which are worth alot more than item mall fashion.
Q: Do i get to choose color?
A: This is also answered at the bottom of this post in the item mall section, but no. Later its presumed we will be able to get dyes to change the color though.
Q: How do I wear it?
A: Once bought, right click it. Then once all of it is equipped, click the circle next to 'Clothes' in your inventory.
Q: Are WF's the only ones able to have pets?
A: No. There are 'all class' pets that people can use. Theres the bunny, frog, cat, puppy, piglet, dodo bear, butterfly, salamander, silver fox cub.
All of these any class can use but for some retarded reason only WF's can get the eggs needed to make them.
Q: Why does it say 'Locked' when I try to equip an item?
A: You need to be in human mode. Equipping stuff while in tiger/fox mode doesnt work.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. Classes
Q: Whats the best class?
A: Depends on style. Venomancer is the quickest leveler and most efficient with money (Could get to 80+ in a month) while Barbarian is the slowest and most expensive to maintain. Venomancers's often die quickly in PvP due to zerg/out-geared/out-leveled and not the best suited for Pvp/pk.
Q: Whats a WF? A WB? Etc?
A: WF = Werefox(Venomancer) / WB = Werebeast(Barbarian) / EA = Elf archer / EP = Elf Priest(Cleric) / WR = Warrior(Blademaster) / MG = Mage(Wizard)
Q: How should i put my stats?
A: Read the forums. Either these or ****************** and you can find the builds there.
Q: Whats most wanted end-game?
A: Anything works.
Q: Best pvper?
A: If you suck at pvp, nothing. If your good at pvp, everything. Its all about play style, but i will say this. Archers drop people FAST
Q: What gear should i use?
A: Whatever you think works for you. Archers use bow for PvP and slingshot for PvE (or crossbow, whichever you get is better). Warriors/WB use spear/dual blunts/axes.
Q: How do i upgrade my skills?
A: Go to the class master of your class.
Q: Will i have enough SP end-game to learn all skills?
A: Yes. By level 90 you should have earned enough.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. Items
Q: Where do I buy arrows?
A: The blacksmith
Q: Where do I buy potions?
A: The apothecary
Q: Where do I buy weapons?
A: The blacksmith
Q: Where do I buy jewelry?
A: The craftsmen
Q: Where do I buy armor?
A: The tailor
Q: How do I equip arrows?
A: Right click on them. Must be the same grade lvl as the item or lower.
Q: How do I equip items?
A: Right click. You must meet the item requirements though.
Q: What are the best items?
A: Well, the best is what you need the most. In general definition though there are 4 types of 'best'. First up is 3 star items, second is Legendary items then Holy hall items and finally 2 star Holy hall..
3 star items have 3 unfilled stars and glow purple when its a weapon.
Legendary items have 1 gold star and need to use molders to craft. They start at lvl 21. They also glow.
Holy hall items have 1 teal star and you can get them when your level 60+ from holy hall
2 Star Holy Hall has 2 red stars and require 4 or 5 of the best lvl 99 moulders and its own type of moulder.
Q: How do i get moulders?
A: Kill bosses in FB's (Down to quest section if you dont know what they are). Then after level 39, most normal bosses will also drop them that arent in FB's (or so i heard). You can also get from the dragon quest but youll end up spending more on trying to earn enough tablets than just outright buying the molder. Each molder needs 50 silver and 50 bronze or so.
Q: Where do i craft these legendary items?
A: In Southwest ADC at the deity pots.
Q: What do i need to craft them?
A: You need a moulder and the correct amount of mats and a person with the required level of crafting.
Q: How do i make 3 star items?
A: Just normally craft items and you have a chance of making them.
Q: How do i make holy hall items?
A: Theres 2 ways. The easy way is to just buy them from players. If you dont, you need a full party of lvl 60+ people including a tank. Then you need to goto HH and enter the dungeon. The party leader dictates some options which im not sure what they are.
Once inside, you need to get down to the bosses and kill them to get the pieces.
Q: What are these green circle things with stuff exploding in the middle?
A: That is a bomb. If your inside the circle when it explodes YOU WILL DIE. You need to wait for it to explode and then run through.
Q: How hard are these bosses?
A: Depends on which you do. 1-1 solo (actually a max of 4) is easy, while 1-1 party is harder and 1-3 is the hardest for that instance. 3-3 Party is near impossible.
Q: What are DQ items?
A: DQ stands for dragon quest. The DQ items are needed for completing the quest of that level.
Q: What do i get for completing the dragon quest?
A: Dragon tablets. They come in 3 flavors. Bronze for lvl 21 and 31 quests. Silver for 41 and (51 i assume too) and Gold for 61+?
Q: What can i do with these tablets?
A: Where you character was made there is a dragon emissary. Talk to him and you can trade in tablets for moulders or a special pet.
Q: Is it worth doing?
A: no. Sell all your DQ items. If you do the quest, you will only get 1 tablet depending on which level DQ you do and the cost of doing it is more expensive than selling all of the DQ items. Not only that, you need ALOT of these tablets to turn in for legendary molders. Your better off saving the money to buy wine to clear out FB's for the bosses that drop that molder.
Q: How can I get a higher level proffesion!?
A: If your still a level 1 blacksmith/tailor etc you need to craft items at that level. When you craft, in the top right a green bar fills up. Once that fills up go back to an elder and learn production skills. You cannot get level 4 or higher proffesion until you hit level 50 and finish a quest.
Q: How can i make hierograms?
A: Depends what your talking about. HP/MP hierograms cannot be made. Patk/Matk/Pdef/Mdef can be made by pharmacists using fuel crystals.
Q: What are fuel crystals?
A: You get these from disassembling items. The more stars it has the more crystals will be made. Buying 1 star items to crystalize isn't a good idea.
Q: How do i disassemble?
A: Goto a tailor, blacksmith or jeweler and click on disassemble
Q: What grade items give what fuel crystals?
A: Grade 2 item = grade 1 fuel
Grade 3 item = grade 2
etc.
Q: Why can i only make a few things since im a pharmacist?
A: You can make more if your clan owns a territory. Each territory has its own governor and from him you can make special pharmacist items.
Q: What are Shards?
A: Shards have bonuses that can be put onto items that have sockets. If the shard says Weapon: +25 patk / Armor: +25 pdef that means when on a weapon itll add 25 patk to your stats and 25 pdef to your stats if its on armor.
Q: How do I put them on my item?
A: it must have a socket. If you got both things needed, goto a tailor or blacksmith and click on 'Imbue soulgem'.
Q: Whats the max amount of sockets?
A: 4 on armor, 2 on weapon
Q: How do i get my item to glow?
A: Your armor needs to have 2 sockets and a minimum grade of 5. If both of those are requirements are met, you then need to put 2 of the SAME GRADE AND TYPE shards into the armor. That is the only way for armor to glow.
Weapons glow automatically when 3 star, legendary, super legendary or from holy hall.
Q: What are these big head/monkey/pumpkin bollus things?
A: Use one and find out
Q: Why cannot i harvest this material!?
A: You need to be a required level to extract different materials. Just keep leveling and you will be able to soon.
Q: Is the drop rate reduced if im a higher level than the mob?
A: Yes, if your over 20 dont expect to get alot. If your 10 you probably still wont get anything. Its best to be a max of 4-6 levels over.
Q: Are quest rates reduced too?
A: Not that i know of.
Q: Why do some people say they have a +X item? What is that?
A: You can upgrade (Plus up) your weapon using mirage stones. Every + adds extra damage or pdef.
Q: How do + it up?
A: http://******************/forums/showthread.php?t=1913
Q: Why is the success rate so low?
A: Cause items are so good when +'d.
Q: What is this 'Wine' ive heard of?
A: Its an item needed to clear an FB of all the monsters except for the boss and minions. For FB19 and 29 you only need ONE wine. Fb39 AND ABOVE you need TWO.
Q: How do i obtain this wine?
A: In Archosaur there is an NPC called Mister Tso. If you talk to him for a quest, there is a list of 8 or 9 types of wines. Depending on which you select, it can clear an FB out when given to the drunken poet at the FB. Please note, that the wine must be the CORRECT wine. You cannot use FB19 wine on FB29, 39 etc and cant use fb39 wine on 29 or 19.
The way its listed is in order from fb19 to fb99. So it starts at fb19 then the second is fb29 and then 39 etc.

A: Take out some items from your inventory and the quest will be gone and you will get some items.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5. Pk/Pvp
Q: Why cant i pk or pvp people?
A: You need to be above level 30 and the other person needs to be above level 30.
Q: Ok, so im past level 30 and when i attack someone my name goes purple. wtf?
A: Thats called flagging. When you hit someone you go purple and anyone can attack you without pking you. Whoever dies loses exp and has a chance of dropping items.
Q: Im a pker now, what happens?
A: For every person you pked, it takes 2 hours to wear off your 'karma'. So if you killed 10 in a row it will take 20 hours until your white again. If you die while red, you will drop any item you have in your inventory unless it says it has death protection. If you buy replacement dolls from the item mall you wont drop anything nor lose exp.
Q: I went purple for trying to kill a red!?
A: Protection for people PKing so they dont go even deeper into the red.
Q: Ok, i got that all figured out. How do i lose the 2 crossed swords next to mine name after i turned white?

Q: Whats TW?
A: Its territory wars. A guild can siege a plot of land and try to win it. If they do, they get 10m/week per plot of land.
Q: Any other benefits?
A: TW gives the guild leader 10m/week (for regular land), 20m a week for minor towns and 30m for the major towns. , it allows anyone in the guild to craft from the governor and buy cheaper res scrolls from him. All members can also directly port to the land (M->Kingdom map->Click on owned land) for free once an hour.
Q: How do I sign up?
A: Your guild must be level 2 and the guild leader must sign up at the Territory Wars Manager. If you bid 2 million, you will be the sieger and no one else can bid on the territory.
Q: How do we win TW?
A: In the opposite castle there is a crystal that must be destroyed with catapults. This crystal has 2 towers directly on each side and then others further out from both A and C paths.
Q: Towers? How do we kill them?
A: Catapults. The only thing that harms towers or the crystal is a catapult. Everything else is resisted except maybe WF golem pet.
Q: How do we get catapults?
A: They automatically spawn but you need to buy a thing from the manager in the instance to use a catapult. It costs 20k. If you die, you need to be res'd within 20 or 30 seconds else the catapult dies.
Q: How do we operate catapults?
A: When you port in, there is a manager on your left or right. Talk to him and buy a catapult scroll for 20k. Once bought, go up to a catapult, click it and right click the scroll in your inventory. Once its done casting it will automatically follow you and automatically attack the towers or crystal when in range.
Q: My catapult died and im still alive!?
A: Keep an eye on the box near your radar. Try to keep it at green, yellow is fine. When its red/orange STOP and go back to your catapult. If your to far out of range it will automatically self-destruct.
Q: What can kill catapults?
A: Nothing. But you CAN kill the people controlling them.
Q: Can I participate in TW if im in a guild?
A: Yes, as long as you have been in that guild for 100 hours or more (not online, just in).

A: No
Q: Are hierograms used automatically or disabled?
A: They are enabled.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A: REMIND ME TO UPDATE THIS WHEN THE RATES ARE RELEASED
Q: Can I trade the items from the item mall to players ingame?
A: Yes
Q: I bought fashion but I didnt get to choose color!?
A: Yes. Blame the devs. Try to exchange with people ingame for the color you want.
Q: Why should I use the ingame item mall if i got alot of game gold?
A: No reason to. Just buy cubigold from the auction house or the items from the players. Typical Gold->Cubi-gold transfer rates are 50-80k each.
Q: I heard that there should be more items in the item mall... Where are they?
A: They are on the other servers. We are currently in the sewer for updates.
Q: How do I get into the item mall?

7. Leveling
This section will be short. Just an outline of leveling places.
Due to some confusion I will make this clear!
You STILL RECEIVE QUESTS after level 40! Its just that the amount of EXP gained from questing/soloing is far below what you could earn in a group!
Level 1->40
Quests
Level 40->44
Should be some pterodactyls under Heavens Tear City
Level 44->50/52
South of Sundown should be aoe groups (or atleast noob aoe)
Level 52->60
Dawns Cry Isle
Level 60->68?
YKD/Dream Searching/Ridge
Got more? Tell me and ill add
Note: If you run out of quests to do, kill FLYING mobs. 1/2 hp and 2x hp. You should also add in FB19 and 29 to do since they give alot of exp

Q: Can I drop items or lose exp in TW?
A: No
Q: Are hierograms used automatically or disabled?
A: They are enabled.

Q: What is this Item Mall thingy mabobber majigger [insert more things like that]
A: You buy special things from the Item Mall using Zen gold or coins.
Q: Whats the conversion rate?
A: Press the letter O on your keyboard or click the sun near the radar

7. Leveling
This section will be short. Just an outline of leveling places.
Due to some confusion I will make this clear!
You STILL RECEIVE QUESTS after level 40! Its just that the amount of EXP gained from questing/soloing is far below what you could earn in a group!
Level 1->40
Quests
Level 40->44
Should be some pterodactyls under Heavens Tear City
Level 44->50/52
South of Sundown should be aoe groups (or atleast noob aoe)
Level 52->60
Dawns Cry Isle
Level 60->68?
YKD/Dream Searching/Ridge
Got more? Tell me and ill add
Note: If you run out of quests to do, kill FLYING mobs. 1/2 hp and 2x hp. You should also add in FB19 and 29 to do since they give alot of exp

Perfect world-How to avoid scams
1.) If you ask for a GM to help you, and someone with a username like "Bob" (as an example) messages you, saying that they are a GM, take a Screenshot and submit a ticket. THEY ARE NOT A GM.
When a GM messages you it will say "GM says: ...." The GM username DOES NOT SHOW.
2.) If someone wants to trade you a "rare" item for your "normal" item, this should be a red flag. If you don't know anything about the item they're trying to trade, don't accept it. Also, some "rare" items have the same icon as normal icons - check the item details with a mouseover CAREFULLY before hitting the final Trade button - some scammers switch out the expensive item for a cheap one right before you hit the first Confirm. So DOUBLE CHECK.
3.) If someone tells you they know a glitch you can use to upgrade something, or get free gold or items, screencap the conversation and submit it in a ticket. Don't actually do what they say - they've figured out a way to get you to drop an item for them to steal, most likely. Don't send them an item to "upgrade" either. You probably won't get it back.

Perfect world-To keep your account SAFE
1.) Make a strong password.
It should have letters, numbers, and symbols, and be hard to guess.
2.) Never, EVER tell anyone your login name or password.
This includes friends and people pretending to be GMs, Mods, or Admins. Friends can get mad and vengeful, and PWE staff won't ask you for your login name and password.
Also, sharing accounts is bannable, so having someone log in to do your quests is a baaad idea. Family members should have their own accounts. If something happens to your account and you willingly gave out your password, the staff can't help you there, it was your error and the TOS relieves them of liability.
3.) Be careful of Chat, Forum, and Email posts with links.
Did you see someone in the game or on the forum offering leveling services, or free gold and items if you go to a website? DON'T GO THERE. They will grab your username and password and take YOUR stuff. Not to mention it'd be illegal if they were telling the truth, and using that site could get you banned too. Ouch.
Did you get a strange email "from Perfect World" that you weren't expecting? Check it out closely, and if in doubt, ask the staff here.
If you EVER get an email, from anyone, that you don't know, don't click the links inside. At the least, you've let a mail spammer know you're using that email address, and you'll get more spam. At the worst, you could download a virus into your computer - they can even hide those things in pictures these days. If you're REALLY unlucky, the virus could have a keylogger, and transmit your passwords to the hacker. So seriously, BE CAREFUL with links. And NEVER open attachments from people you don't know! Those ARE the viruses.
As an extra precaution, don't post your email address on forums. Spammers, hackers, and spider-bots that troll forums to grab new email accounts are looking for just that kind of opening to get into your computer and spam your account.
4.) Check your computer with Antivirus & Antispamware checks regularly. Be sure to use something safe and well-known like Norton Symantec or McAfee.

What is Aion?
The Asmodians::
The Asmodians are a brave and hardy people, separated from the Elyos by the Epic Cataclysm and plunged into a world of darkness and despair. To survive such desolation is one thing, but to thrive and prosper is quite another.
The scars of their history are still exposed for all to see; as the Asmodians sank into their cold and sombre world, their bodies started to change. In the darkness, their skin fell pale, and as their eyes adapted, they developed an otherworldly glow about them.
To their own, Asmodians are infinitely generous and fiercely loyal – they would sooner give their life in battle than to see that of a comrade taken from them. However, outsiders beware; Asmodians are an increasingly hostile faction and will not think twice before bringing their colossal power into play. Similar to their Elyos counterparts, Asmodian Daeva are blessed with strength and the ability to fly, though their wings have darkened following many difficult years on Asmodae.
They now follow the Shedim Lords, the five Empyreans ordered by Siel and Israphel to protect the upper foundation of the Aion tower, the Tower of Darkness, and with them have established the city of Pandaemonium.
The Elyos::
The Elyos occupy the lower half of Atreia, known as Elysium. After the Epic Cataclysm, they found themselves bathed in sunlight for over 750 years and, as a result, have transformed into a beautiful and radiant people. However, their splendor has also led to the Elyos becoming arrogant; they see themselves as blessed by Aion, while the Asmodians, cast into darkness by the Epic Cataclysm, are seen by the Elyos as cursed creatures.
As a people, the Elyos can be comforting, with a warm and friendly manner. Against foes however, no such trace of kindliness or benevolence can be found. Their ascended forms feature stunning, angelic wings and they carry immense strength that belies their graceful facade.
The Elyos now serve the five Seraphim lords who helped them build their city of Sanctum and guided them to safety when all seemed lost. The stump of the Tower of Eternity that stands on Elysium is now known as the Tower of Light, and serves as a constant reminder to its people of the terrible mistake perpetuated by the Asmodian people and their Shedim Lords.
The Balaur::
The term “Balaur” invokes images of terror and fear for the level of destruction that they caused, and continue to cause, in Atreia. A mighty and highly intelligent race created by Aion to rule the planet’s population (including the human races), the Balaur quickly became fixated with power and servitude.
Their obsession eventually threatened The Tower of Eternity after violating the restrictions that Aion placed on them, forcing the god to create the Empyrean Lords to safeguard the planet and its people.
After a long and vicious war against the Empyrean Lords, the Balaur were involved in the destruction of the Tower of Eternity during an intended meeting for peace. In retaliation, the Empyrean Lords banished the Balaur, sealing them inside the Abyss, an unstable rift between the two shattered halves of Atreia.
Recently however, the Balaur have managed to escape from their prison, and threaten this fragile world with their fury once again…

Aion Stigma Guide
Has anyone ever complained about an overpowered class, or classes being unbalanced in an MMORPG? In order to maintain a balance of the two factions Elyos and Asmodian PVP environment, both factions have almost the exact same skill sets per class in Aion. For example Elyos Cleric would have the exact same skill set as Asmodian Cleric with the expectation of a few skills. Aion stigma systems gives each players more flexibility in customizing their characters, allowing them to more personalize the character according to their playing style. However, you’ll probably find out later that most player might play around with different combinations of stigma at first, but most end up using what everyone else uses anyway.
If you are looking for a more complete guide for leveling, full stigma guide/list, and earning kinah

Aion Stigma FAQ
How to Use the Stigma System?
First you must have acquired or activated the stigma system, which can only be done once you have reached level 20 and completed the Stigma quest. Once you have completed the stigma quest you would need Stigma Stones and Stigma Shards. Your first Stigma Stone and 300 Stigma Shards are given to you as rewards for completion of the level 20 quest.
What are Stigma Stones?
Stigma Stones are special stones which allow you to use a class specific skill once the stone is equipped into your stigma slots.
For a List of Stigma check out Aionamory or Aiondatabase.
Where do I can I get Stigma Stones?
Your first level 20 Stigma Stone is given to you as a reward for completing the quest, the rest of them can be purchased either from other players or drops from mobs. If you’re planning to farm a particular mob for a good stigma, you can forget it. Stigma are random drop of any mobs within the level range of a particular stigma stone.
For example a very popular stigma stone called Unwavering Devotion for Templars/Gladiator, it is a level 34 stigma skill for the Templar, and a 37 skill for the Gladiator, but they both use the same stigma stone. The Unwavering Devotion stigma stone can drop for any mobs from level ~32 to ~ 40, of course unique name, and elite mobs would have higher chance of dropping it. There is also another factor for the drop rate of any stigma, not all stigma have a equal chance of dropping even if they are same level stigmas. Some stigmas are very rare, while some are more common. Generally the useful stigmas are more rare, then the useless ones, that is why if you check the trade broker, the popular stigmas are always very expensive due to their rarity, and high demands.
How can I equip your Stigma Stones?
Stigma stones can only be equipped with the help of a Stigma Tuner, who is located in Lyceum in Sanctum, and the National Assembly in Pandaemonium. There are also Stigma Tuner located in both Elyos/Asmodian Abyss Fortress Town, as well as Morheim, Eltnen, Beluslan, and Heiron. You’ll also need a certain amount of Stigma Shards to equip the Stigma Stone. The amount of Stigma Shards are different depending on the skill being equipped.
Advance Stigma are slightly different, first you’ll acquire you first 2 advance stigma slots at level 45 by completing 2 different quests. Once you have your slots open, you can purchase all your advance stigmas from Abyss Vendor NPC(There are 2 one sells to melee, other for magic class). You must use Abyss Points to purchase advance stigma must but they’re not expensive. Advance stigma are advanced, which means you need to have prerequisite stigma equipped in order to equip the advance stigma. Each advance have different requirements, the level 45 advance stigma only requires normal stigmas to be equipped, while the level 50 advance stigma would require 1 to 2 level 45 advance stigma equipped.
Where can I get Stigma Shards?
Again the first 300 shards are given to you as a reward; afterwards you can only acquire Stigma Shards from any mobs in Abyss, and most quests in Abyss that gives shards as rewards. You can also acquire a very good amount of stigma shards from killing oppision faction’s guards, as well as any Balaur mobs.
Do I get my Stigma Shards back if I Unequipped the Stigma Stone?
The answer is NO! so choosing you skill wisely.
How many Stigma Can I Equipped?
There are total of 8 Stigma slots, 5 of which are normal stigma slots that you’ll start with 2 slots at level 20 and gain additional slots every 10 level. The other 3 slots are advance stigma slots, first 2 advance stigma slots are acquired at level 45 by completing 2 quests, and the third one is at level 5 also through completion of a quest. Keep in mind that all 3 quests are chain quests, which means you must complete one in order to start the next quest.
* Level 20: 2 Stigma Slots
* Level 30: 3 Stigma Slots
* Level 40: 4 Stigma Slots
* Level 45: 6 Stigma Slots
* Level 50: 8 Stigma Slots
What are Advanced Stigma Stones?
After Aion patch 1.5 (also it’s the NA/EU Aion official launch version) You can equip up to 3 additional Advanced Stigma Stones. The 3 slots can be unlocked by doing the right quests and Advanced Stigma Stones can only be equipped if the prerequisite Stigmas are equipped. Advance stigma can only be equipped in the advance stigma slots, but normal stigmas can be equipped in any slots.
How do I use my Stigma skills once the Stigma Stone is Equipped?
This was something that really confused me when I first used Stigma skills. Once you have equipped the Stigma Stones with the help of the Stigma Tuner, just push K or whatever hotkey you have to bring up your skill list. Your new Stigma skill should be there. After that just drag the skill to your hotbar like you would for all your normal skills. If it’s a passive skill then don’t worry about it, however most Stigma skill are active.
Choosing your Stigma Skills
Honestly there is no general guide on which stigma to use, that’s the whole idea of the system, since it is to create a unique PVP environment. Choosing Stigma skills may be easy for some classes, and hard for other. Some classes may have less different types of skills to choose from, while other may have a larger variety. However there are a few really popular Stigma Stones, for examples Assassin’s Ambush IV, Ranger’s Sleep Arrow I, Templar’s Unwavering Devotion, Sorcerer’s Bond of Strength, etc..
Some classes are more flexible with stigma build, Sorcerers for example can have a few different good stigma build, they can be crowd control build, heavy damage build, or 1 v 1 pvp build. Assassin’s on the other hand aren’t as flexible in terms of good stigma build, I know some Assassin’s out there might argue with me, but if you look at most of the good Assassin’s they tend to have 1 build, with maybe 1 or 2 skill differences.

* Level 20: 2 Stigma Slots
* Level 30: 3 Stigma Slots
* Level 40: 4 Stigma Slots
* Level 45: 6 Stigma Slots
* Level 50: 8 Stigma Slots

Aion Spiritmaster Guide(part 1&2)
So I’ve been fooling around on C-Aion (Chinese Aion) for a few weeks now, and originally wanted to play as my favorite Assassin, but it was too laggy to play on C-Aion due to latency and ended up playing Spiritmaster. After a quick search for level 42 – 45 Spiritmaster on the C-Aion server and found 0, I decided to write an Aion Spiritmaster Guide for the underdog class.
If you are looking for a more complete Aion leveling guide for every class, earning kinah, and much more…
then you should check out:Aion Guide
What is the Spiritmaster?
For those who haven’t played Aion yet, and is wondering what is the Spiritmaster class in Aion here are some general information’s. Spiritmaster is an archetype of the mage class, their primary ability is to summon and command elemental pets, they have strong Will, and Knowledge. Spiritmaster uses magical spellbooks and orbs as their weapon of choose, and basic cloth and robes are their armors. They are not the best choose for solo pvp, but they are the best class for solo PVE.
Role as Spiritmaster
Being the underdog of all Aion classes, the Spiritmaster are usually misunderstood and not given enough credit for their power. Many players has the wrong impression about the Spiritmaster. Unlike the Sorcorcer which is design for doing massive amount of damage, Spiritmaster is design for crowd control, debuffs, and shut downs. Bottom line is your there to be annoying, keeping your enemy fear, slowed, and debuffed, making their skills useless.
Spirit Master PVE
Spiritmaster is the best class for solo PVE in Aion, having a pet to tank and deal extra damage makes allows them to handle and kill higher level mobs allot faster than any other class. Although they are widely known to be able to solo elite mobs, and high level boss mobs. Although Spiritmaster is design to be the best class for solo PVE, it has also been said by level 50 Spiritmasters players on Korean servers that after level 40 you would have a much harder time soloing than level 40 and below. Also an added bonus to being able to kill higher level mobs and boss, makes the Spiritmaster the ideal class to farm for unique gears from boss and make money.
Spiritmaster is also great for group PVE, their pets debuff, they can slow, snare, debuff, and most important of all they are the only class with fear and remove enchantment/buff skills, all and all makes Spiritmaster an valuable class in a well organized group or raid. If your group or raid ever get into a tough situation and is over whelm by mobs, the Spiritmaster can easily use massive area fear to crowd control.
Spirit Master PVP
Sadly being a Spiritmaster most likely you’re not going to be on the top of the list for PVP rank. The Spiritmaster isn’t there to solo PVP, you don’t have the best DPS (damage per second) as a caster cast, and you were robes and cloth just like the Sorcerer making you valuable to physical attacks especially Assassin and their ambush skills. Now that doesn’t mean Spiritmaster cannot PVP at all they are just not ideal for solo PVP, an well managed and skilled Spiritmaster can do very well in PVP. I have seen Spiritmaster easily take town almost every class equal or high level to them in PVP with fear, and their shut down skills.
Although the Spiritmaster is not the ideal class for solo PVP, you’ll be showered with love for group PVP. Ever PVP group needs a Spiritmaster to strip/remove buffs, it cost them money to buy high grade enchament scrolls while it only cost you mana to strip/remove them . Best of all as a Spiritmaster you can remove templars’ famous armor buffs and watch them cry as they can no longer tank 10 people at once.
Although none of the Spiritmaster pets can fly or follow you in the air (maybe in the future), the skill Wing Root definitely makes up for the lost of pet. Wing Root allows you to cut down your enemies fly time, causing them to panic as they fear of dropping to death.
PVP Tips From Level 50 Spiritmaster Players:
* Use Erosion and Seldom Orbs as your main damage skills, as they save your mana pool usage.
* Use pets as a harassment tool, keep your enemies annoyed.
* Fears, Magic block, Magic Combustion, pet skills, Wing Root and your AOE DP is you friend, you will use them a lot during pvp.
* Don’t worried about your DPS, worried about your control skills.
* Beware of other Spiritmasters.
Choosing a Pet
Most people wants to know which is the best pet to have, the answer is there isn’t “the best pet” they are good for different situation, here is a breakdown of all the pets and their abilities.
Fire Spirit:
Your very first pet is the Fire Spirit, out of all spirits the fire spirit is probably the most balanced, they have the second most of HP, good DPS, and average defense. The fire spirit is no not the best choose for PVP, however they are used during pvp because of the Command: Substitution skill, which allows the Spiritmaster to redirect all damages towards the fire spirit. The fire spirit also works well in groups for PvE, as they can lower physical defenses, as well as fire resistance of your enemies, and because their HP is second to the Earth Spirit allows them to survive a lot long from any attacks and AOE. The Fire spirit are also great for solo PvE because they have the best taunt skill, so when your dyeing they can get the mob off you. As a quick note the fire spirits commands(skills) are burst damage, and they have the best taunt skill
Wind Spirit:
The Wind Spirit is my personal favourite, not only that they look cool but they are also the best and primarily used for PvP. The Wind Spirit is weak and has the lowest amount of HP, however they have the fastest running speed allowing them to catch up to your enemies easily. The wind spirit also has the highest melee DPS, and they can stun if you use Command: Disturbance. Not many people use the wind spirit for solo PvE, unless they are kiting the mob and use the wind spirit as extra DPS. Unlike the Earth and Fire Spirit, the Wind Spirit training book can acquired from drop from Wind Spirit related mobs, or purchase from other players that are selling them, and depending on the server they can be costly. Just like the Earth spirit, Wind spirits also has a mix of burst and DoT skills.
Water Spirit:
The Water Spirit just like the wind spirit, it’s training book can only be acquired from mob drops. The Water spirit also has really low HP, which makes them very vulnerable to attacks. However to make up the weakness of having low amount of HP, the water spirit is the only spirit that does range and magical damage. It’s ranged attack does a great deal of damage, and allows it to attack your enemies in the air, which makes it a must have for Abyss PvPs where flying is allowed everyone in the zone. The water spirit also has an advantage against Sorcerer’s root skill, while all your other spirit while rooted would make them pretty much useless, the water spirit range attack can still make them super effective. Like the Fire spirit, the Water spirits commands are burst damage.
Earth Spirit:
The Earth Spirit is also known as the tank pet, they have the highest amount of HP, defense and the second best taunt right after the Fire Spirit. The Earth spirit is great for solo PvE, as they require less of your care in healing the with your own HP, and they can tank boss mobs, or elite mobs much longer than other spirits. Most of their commands(skill) are either DOT(damage over time) or burst base, also they are able to heal them self with the skill Command: Disturbance.
Magma Spirit:
The Magma spirit is one of the two special DP summon in the game, the other one is Tempest spirit for the Elyos Spiritmaster. The Magma spirit spellbook is only available to level 50 spirit master and it is only for the Asmodian Spiritmaster, opposite of the Tempest spirit. Unlike Fire, Earth, Wind, and Water spirits, which will not be un-summoned unless it dies, or command un-summoned, the Magma spirit will only last for 5 minutes before it disappear. However to make up for the short duration and long cool down of the skill, Magma spirit has extremely high attack, defenses, and HP. The spirit is a unique mixture of Earth and Fire spirit with very cool graphic features. The Magma spirit is an ideal choose for group PvP and PvE, because of its ability to debuff, and high DPS. Because Magma spirit is a highbred of two different spirit upon using Command skill, it has the ability to execute both attacks at once.
Tempest Spirit:
The Tempest spirit is the opposite of Magma spirit, it is a mixture of Water, and Wind spirits, it is only for Elyos Spirit master, and it also has a long cooldown and short duration of skill. Just like the Magma spirit, the Tempest spirit also has a mixture of Commands. The Tempest spirit is strong in a 1 vs. 1 dual with the Magma spirit, due to its ability to use both stuns and crash all at once. But over all Tempest spirit has slight lower stats then Magma spirit, because it is a range attack pet.
Spiritmaster Stigma Guide
The Aion Stigma system allows you to equip unique skills and customize your character skill tree, for more details on stigma check out my Aion stigma guide or check Aion Complete Guide. Stigma cost rare drops from mobs, so often you going to buy from other players and they can be very costly so it is wise to choose and known which Stigma are best for you.
For Spirit Master PVP Stigma I recommend:
* Weaken Spirit (Must have)
* Fear Shriek (Must have)
* Command: Substitution (Must have)
* Body Root (Important but optional)
* Strengthening Spirit: Recovery (Important but optional)
* Magic Blocking (Important but optional)
Since you can equipped up to a total of 8 Stigma, 5 regular slot, and 3 advance slot for patch 1.5 you can equipped all 6 recommend stigma listed above. However you can always play around and be creative, find the best fit for your playing style.
Spiritmaster Gears
Armors
When it comes to gears as a Spiritmaster you don’t have that much of choose, Spiritmaster is archetype of mage class, you can only where cloth. Although you don’t have any choosing the types of armor to wear, but as you get higher and higher in levels it is a must to equip yourself with the best stats unique armors. There are generally two types of armor in Aion regular white name armor with no bonus stats, and unique green, blue, and gold equipments with bonus stats.
As a Spiritmaster you really want to look for two bonus stats on unique armor that is to increase HP or Magical Boost. Above all other stats HP is probably the most important to Spiritmaster, because Spiritmaster can only wear cloth makes them extremely vulnerable to physical attacks, having more HP will allow you survive a lot long in PvP and PvE. The second most important stats to look for Magical Boost, because it increases most of your magical attacks but not your pet Commands and attacks (Pets, and Summon: Servants are not scaled by Magical Boost).
The downside to looking for HP and Magical Boost gear, is that they are hard to find! You’ll find a lot of MP and Magical Boost gears but not HP, because that’s just the way the game is design. However don’t be too stressed about not finding the right gears, because Spiritmaster has pets as tank, so you don’t really need to depend on gears to level fast but PvP on the other hand do require you to have good gears.
Two other bonus stats to look for are Flight Time and Casting Speed, they are not as important as HP and Magical Boost. But when you get in to the range of high 30s to 50 you will probably looking at either blue or gold gears, which has more than 2 bonus stats sometimes.
Weapons
When it comes to weapons, the Spiritmaster has two choice, Orbs or Spellbooks. Orbs has high Magic Boost, low Magic Accuracy, which your spell will do more damage. Spellbook has low Magic Boost, but high Magic Accuracy, which makes them essential for crowd control spell for PvP or PvE. Good thing Aion is design to allow you to carry two different weapon and can easily switch between the two.
Manastones
In Aion all gears has sockets for manastones, depending on the gear it can have anywhere from 1 to 6 gears on a single piece of gear (Note: accessories gears don’t have sockets). When a piece is equipment is stocked with manastones, bonus stats of the manastone is added to the gear.
HP, and Magical Boost are again the most important manastones for a Spiritmaster. Another useful manastone is Magical Accuracy, because it decreases the chance of your crowd control spells being resisted, thus it’s very useful for PvP or group PvP/PvE, . It is ideal to have two sets of armor, for optimal effectives in PvP as well as PvE. As mention above in the armors section, while Magical Boost increases the damage to some of Spiritmasters attack, it does not scale the damage of your pet or Summon: servants spells. Thus this will affect your damage only by alittle in PvP, so your better of adding more HP to your character to increase his/her survivability. Now, if you can’t afford or don’t have the time to obtain two different sets of armor, just focus on getting the HP one first, but if you like do more damage than make a Magical Boost set.
Thats all for the Aion Spiritmaster Guide, keep in mind that this just a general Aion Spiritmaster guide, there is a lot I havn’t covered in this guide.

Aion Crafting Guide(part 1&2)
Just like in real life, some people are chiefs, some can craft furnitures, and some can tailor clothing, all of which are trade skills used to better our society. Likewise in order to create the illusion of a complete society, many MMORPGs has adopted the trade skill system or crafting system. There are a total of six different crafting skills that you can choose from in Aion. You can become an Alchemist, a Cook, an Armorsmith, a Weapon Smith, a Tailor, or a Handcrafter.
Usually the crafting systems are designed to support the in-game economy allowing players to become expert in certain trade skills and earn money with their profession. In a way, the crafting system is also a money sucker for the companies of those games, because while you might have gotten bored of the constant grinding to level up, killing monsters, or getting killed, the crafting system gives you something to do so you wouldn’t quit the game. Not everyone is going to like to craft, I personally don’t like crafting, but I still do it because it provides a good way to earn money in game, and some good gears.

There are two ways to access the crafting menu, the first way is through the workstation, and the second way is by bringing up your skills window by pushing the K button by default and then click on the Crafting tab. Under the crafting tab you will see a list of all your crafting skills that you have learned as well as gather and Aether gather. Double click the skill you have learn and want to, to bring that the actual crafting menu for that particular skill, but keep in mind that you can only craft if you’re standing by the workstations. With the craft menu open it is actually pretty easy, on the top left you’ll see your current skill level, below that it is a list of items you have design for and can actually make. Select the item you wish to craft and on the right top it shows you what the you’re creating, below that is a list of ingredients you need. Finally at the very bottom of the right side, you’ll see 2 button Craft, and Craft all, basically you can craft 1 item at a time or however many you want by inputting a number in the bar beside the Craft button, or you can simply click Craft All to save some time.

The Aion crafting system is setup in different tiers, for which you first pay 3,500 Kinah in the Lesser tier. There are a total of 5 levels, Lesser, Regular, Greater, Fine, and Expert, but keep in mind that you can only Expert in two crafting professions. In order to reach the next tier or level in your crafting profession, you must max out your current tiers skill points. Every level has 99 points to fill, once you have reached the max, you must go to your profession skill trainer and pay to advance to the next tier. This might sound confusing so here is an example: as you start any crafting profession you have 1p/99p. Once you have reached 99p/99p, and you want to reach 100 p or beyond you must pay around 17,000 Kinah to your professions master/trainer.
Here is a price list for each level, keep in mind the price may change due to tax.
Lesser = ~3,500 Kinah
Regular = ~17,000 Kinah
Greater = ~115,000 Kinah
Fine = ~460,000 Kinah
Expert = ~1,500,000 Kinah

Choosing your Profession
There is no need to worried about choosing the wrong profession in Aion, all profession are useful it’s on way, some more so than other but it still depends on your class. You also don’t need to worried about limitation of being able to master only 1 profession, in Aino you’re allow to master all profession is you have the time, and money. However you’re only allow to choose 2 skills to become an Expert in, but do not worry you can max all 6 profession to 399 then worried about which you want to become an expert.
On average it takes about 2 hour real time to go from 0p to 199p in any profession, then another 10 to 12 hour from 200p to 399p. It also cost about around 2 million kinah to reach 399p for pretty much any profession, some can be cheaper. So if you don’t want to waste hours of your time, and 2 million kinah, it is a good idea to choose the right profession for you.
My general rule of thumb when it comes to choosing your Aion Crafting profession is to know why you’re even bothering to craft. Is it for money, or do you want to craft your own gears? If you want to earn money with crafting you should stick to Alchemy, Tailoring, Armorsmith, and Cooking, they are the best money earning skills. If you want to craft you own gear then stick to the crafting profession that can make your gear. For example: Templars should learn Armorsmith, Weaponsmith, or Handicraft for Accessories, Ranger should learn Tailoring, and Handicraft. If you’re still confused as to which profession is right for you read the section below with a detail overview of all 6 Aion crafting professions.
Alchemy
Everyone should master(399p Alchemy, but only Sorcerer, and Spiritmaster should become an Expert Alchemist if they choose to craft their own spellbooks and orbs. Alchemy is a very useful skill it can create a huge variety of consumable items such as varies of Potions, Scrolls, and even upgrade Manastones . Certain types of potions and scrolls are constantly in high demand, they are needed for PvE, and PvP, and being able to craft your own potion can save some money.
Alchemy is great way to earn kinah, you won’t get a large chunk of profit all at once, but slow and steady is the way of Alchemist. Apart from being able to make potions, and scrolls, Alchemist is the only class that can craft Temporal Stone which is need for campaign quest for both Elyos/Asmodian, and used to activated Artifacts during Fortress sieges, which makes crafting Temporal stone a great way to earn kinah. Sadly most Orbs, and Spellbooks that you can craft with Alchemy is crap, there is only a hand of good/useful orbs, spellbooks you can craft, and this is especially true for high level items. However, this can all change in the later patch of Aion, so keep your hopes up.
One more thing to keep in mind if you choose to become and expert alchemist, is that it can be extremely expensive to become and expert alchemist. However, luckily you can craft all of the useful consumable items without being an expert, and earn money.
Cooking
There are no surprises here. You will be making food and lots of it. The Cooking profession is very similar to Alchemy, it is a goods and commodities trade skill. Foods in Aion are consumable items just like potions and scrolls. they act like a portable buff. Whe you eat food in Aion, they’ll boost certain stats of your character temporarily. Just like Alchemy, you will be earn a steady income as a chief. Cooking is the easiest profession to become an expert, and most of the raw materials required are cheap, and easy to obtain. However, as an expert cook there isn’t much special food you can cook, other then Aether Jelly which is the best item to earn kinah with as a cook. Generally cooking isn’t a profession you should expert, but if you really don’t want to spent much money, and time in crafting, but still want to complete your Fenris/Miragent quest then I highly suggest you to become an expert cook. Note: you’ll need to become an expert in at least one crafting to complete all your Fenris/Miragent armor set quest at level 50, as the third quest require you to craft Hot Heart of Magic which requires 449p crafting in any one of the 6 profession.
Armorsmithing
Armor Smith is for crafting heavy armors, and shields. If your class uses any of the following: chain armor, plate armor or a shield. If you’re cheap and want to have very good gears, and you use heavy armors, then pickup Armorsmithing. Armor crafting is very time consuming, you’ll spent a lot of time refing ore into ingots, and then plate, chain ore wires. Armorsmithing is expensive but much better than Weaponsmithing, most of you cost are going to go purchasing materials require to refine your ores, and ingots, and some higher level armors that requires expert premium armor flux can be expensive.
Earning money with Armorsmith is actually not bad, if you can craft a few good high level armor, they sell very well and are good profits. The problem with armorsmithing is in order to craft unique blue, and gold armors, you’ll need to proc(If you don’t know what procing is please go to part 2 of this Aion Crafting Guide and read the procing section). The good thing about armorsmith is that it all unique armor only require a single proc, and that is why it is not bad to earn money with armorsmithing. Let’s say you don’t have the best luck in the world, and you craft 5 armor, out of the 5, one of them procs. You sell the other 4 to NPC vendor, and sell the proc armor on Trader Broker for a good price. At worse you break even with the cost of materials, and try it again. One last thing, it is recommend that you become an Expert Armorsmith if you choose this profession, as most of you money are going to come from crafting gold expert armors.
Tailor
Tailoring is much like armorsmithing, expect with cloth, leathers, and belts. If you’re a cloth, or leather armors, I highly recommending learning tailor. Tailor is time consuming but not extremely, it isn’t cheap but not expensive either. Tailor is not too hard to expert, and in general it works the same way as armorsmithing. It requires single proc for unique armors, but there is a slight difference, you’ll also need to proc materials. When refining raw materials such as rawhide to leather pads, you’ll have a chance to proc, and even double proc(unlike weaponsmithing, double procing on tailor mats happens all at once, it will simply proc, and proc again). Being able to proc materials is actually a very good thing, because most proc mats sell very well to other lazy tailors. This gives you a lot of chooses, refining tailor materials are relatively cheap, and if you proc you can either sell them or craft them in to armors yourself.
Using tailor to earn kinah is a good idea, on most server there usually is a good population of Assassins, Ranger, and Sorcerers. They all need cloth, or leather armors, which makes tailoring an ideal profession to earn good money with, there are still risks, but very small
Weaponsmithing
If you use a swords, maces, polearms, greatswords, or daggers, consider picking up Weaponsmithing. Weaponsmith is probably the most expensive crafting profession, it require lots of money, and very time consuming as well. Not only that, but if you’re unlucky it can be extremely expensive to become an expert Weaponsmith, and just like armorsmithing, the most of the worthwhile item to craft as a weaponsmith requires expert weaponsmithing.
Earning money with weapon smith is like gambling, I can’t say it’s bad but it definitely isn’t the best way to earn kinah. Let’s say you become weapon smith, so now you can craft some gold weapon which sell for 20million plus. So you begin to craft your weapon and then you realize you’ll need to proc 4 time in a roll just to get a gold weapon! This means you have to craft the white item and hope it procs green, then use the green weapon you crated earlier add some expensive materials, and hope it procs blue, then do the same and hope it procs gold. Keep in mind that you have around 25% – 30% chance of procing in general. If you’re lucky and proc four time in a roll, then you have just made yourself a huge profit. But most of the time you’ll break even, it isn’t bad to break even, but the amount of time it takes to just craft the item is huge. It can take up to 1 hour just to refine materials for a single attempt at a high level weapon, and if you want to do 10 try in a roll, it can take up to 6 to 7 hours just in refining materials. You can earn lots of money with weaponsmithing, but it is very risky.
Handicrafting
You can craft staffs, bows, and accessories(Earring, Necklace, Glasses, and Rings) with Handicrafting. Usually Rangers, Chanters, and anyone that want to craft their own accessories should learn Handicrafting. Just like weaponsmithing, all unique items crafted by handing crafting requires multiple procing. Depending on what you’re going to craft handicrafting can also be very time consuming, and costly. Staffs, and Bows are highly time consuming, and very expensive. Accessories on the other hand does not require a huge amount of time to craft, but can be somewhat expensive as well.
Your only chance to earn money with handicrafting is with accessories, and there are only a few accessories that are actually good enough to sell. On top of that most of the one worthy enough to craft requires you to be an Expert Handicrafter, and getting expert handicraft can be extremely expensive just like Weaponsmith, and Alchemy. Whoever said Handicrafting is the best profession to earn money with is wrong, I know I did before, and I was wrong. It is not it is almost as bad as weaponsmithing.
Crafting with Work Orders
Work Orders can be obtained through your craft profession trainer. Speak to your craft profession trainer and then click on the “Work Orders”. At the begining for every profession you’ll only have 1 work order to actually work on, the one that only require 1p since that’s all the skill you have. The good thing about the first work order is that it doesn’t not require you to buy any material from the material NPC (Note: There is a material NPC in every profession room that sells all the materials you need to complete every single work order there is.). Since the first work order is free, I suggest you take advantage of it and get at least 20p out of it, after that it gets a little slow.
As you’re profession skill level increases, you’ll see more and more work orders from your trainer. All work order difficulties increases in increments of 10p, so it goes like this, 1p, 10p, 20p, … 99p. Once you get pass 40p skill level in any profession, your trainer will have a maximum of 4 different level of work order for you. You’ll have the you current skill level work order, and 3 more work order that range 10 – 30 level below your current skill level. The reason why there aren’t more than 4 different levels of work order at once, is because you’ll not gain any skill from the work order 40 level and below.
Work Order Menu
One last thing to cover about work orders is what if you fail a work order completely, and run out of work order material to complete the task. The way work order works is the trainer ask you to craft a certain amounts of items, and there is always certain materials that are given by the trainer that you cannot buy anywhere else. The trainer usually give you extra material for 3 extra try then the number of items required, just in case you fail once or twice. However there are times(rare) that you’ll fail 4 – 5 times in a roll, and you have run out of the special materials given to you to complete the work order. So what you’ll have to do is go to your quest menu, select the Work Order tab, and abandon that work order before you can accept that work order again.
Obtaining Crafting Receipts/Designs
In general there are 3 different types of designs, there is the normal white designs, the unique normal color designs(green, blue, and gold), and finall the Balic(Balaur) Designs for crafting Balic(Balaur) items.
First lets cover the normal designs, most if not all of the white designs can be purchase from the NPC that sells you materials in the room you would be crafting. The green, and the blue designs can either by obtain by drops from mobs, work order rewards, or buy from other players(Expert Blue Designs, can only be acquired from drops as well just like gold designs). Finally the most unique gold designs, are only drops from high level mobs, the reason you cannot obtain gold design from work order is because all gold design are Expert designs, and once you reach expert there are no more work orders.
The best way to obtain green, and blue designs are by work orders rewards. Every time you complete a work order you’ll receive some sort of reward, most common are designs, and raw materials, but sometimes you’ll receive green/blue designs. The designs you get are based on the level of the work order you complete, you can only acquire designs that are range with in 0p to 25p below the work order level, or 0p to 30p level higher than your current work order. So if you want to acquire all the green/blue designs up to 399p, you better slowly move your way up on the work orders.
Now let’s talk about getting Balic Designs, once you become an Expert you’ll be able to craft powerful Balic gears, and items. In order to craft Balic items, you’ll need Balaur materials such as Hot Balaur Blood Stains, Thick Balaur Horns, etc… You’ll also need to refine those materials, and the designs for refining Balaur materials can be purchase from a special Shugo that is in the crafting area. For Elyos look for Ayurinrinerk in the Artisans Hall, and for Asmodian look for Lyeikunerk at the Temple of Artisans.
Getting Balic material refining design is easy, getting the actual Balic armor, and weapon design is hard, and annoying. First collect a bunch of Balaur Heart, or Hot Balaur Heart, at least 3 of either type. The regular Balaur heart can drop of any Balaur mobs level 40 +, while the Hot Hearts can only be drop from level 46 + Balaur mobs. Then you must take the hearts you collected, go to upper Abyss, and find a secret island that is not on the map called Tigraki Island. Once you arrive on the island you’ll see a bunch of Shugo friendly to both Elyos/Asmodians, and one of them I can’t remember the name would trade Balic designs for Balaur Hearts. You can either trade 3 Balaur Heart for green/blue level 30/40 designs, or 3 Hot Balaur Hearts for green/blue level 50 designs, also keep in mind that the design you get is completely random, so often you might end up with 2 to 3 of the same designs.
Tigraki Island
Here is a map that shows you where Tigraki is located on the Abyss click the small Image to Enlarge.
Crafting to Expert
Before talk about how to actually become an expert crafter, I just want to mention something extremely important. Something that have caused a friend of mine to remake his character after he hit level 50, and something that many player have quit Aion because of this. Keep in mind that once you start an Expert quest you cannot abandon it, or start any other expert quest. So for those of you who want to complete their Fenris/Miragent armor set, make sure are confident in completing your expert quest as some of them are can be extremely expensive.
Since we are on the topic of cost to become and expert, let’s go into it with more details. Many players probably wonder if is hard to become and expert, well it is and it isn’t, it depends on which profession want to become an expert in, and how lucky you are. Cooking is easy, it just takes a little time, and not costly at all. Tailoring, and Armorsmith are average it probably cost you at most 15mil. Weaponsmithing, Alchemy, and Handicraft is very hard, and extremely expensive, if you’re lucky and hit it on your first try then it’s cheap, but I have seen many players who have spent 50 million to 100 plus million kinah and still not an expert in those 3 professions. I’m personally an expert Weaponsmith it toke me 45 tries which cost around 40 million kinah, and that didn’t get me to expert. I was lucky someone was selling the weapon require to become and expert weaponsmith for only 36 million which I borrow some money my friend to but it off the trade broker.
How to Become an Expert Crafter:
The cheapest, easiest, and probably the best way to go from 1p to 399p is by doing Work Orders, period. Once you achieve 399p speak to your craft’s trainer click the work order button again, and you’ll see a new work order, a 399p work order. The 399p work order is the first step to become an Expert in your craft no matter what profession, it is different from all the other work order as you can only complete it once. After you’ve completed your 399p work order speak to your trainer again, and he’ll have your first expert quest which is pretty easy. Then there will be 2 more quest that follows, which will earn you the title of Expert crafter. I’m not going to list the 3rd quest that is required to become and expert, it is name [Expert](The Profession You Choose) Expert. All you need to do to complete that quest is to speak to Vidar/ in Pandaemonium/Sanctum.

How to Become Expert in 2 Craft Professions(Top-Expert):
As you probably know that you can become an expert in 2 different craft profession of your choice. Yes, this is true, but you must complete one expert quest at a time. In order to unlock your 2nd expert quests, you must first complete your first expert quests, and become and expert. After you have completed your expert quests, your must reach 449p in that profession to become a true expert. Only if you have reach 449p in your first profession, the expert quests will unlock for your second profession. Simple go to the train of your second craft profession, and complete the 399p work order, and do then complete the required expert quests for that profession, and then you’re a Top-Expert.
What is Procing?
In order to obtain unique items with bonus stats it must proc. When you are doing Armor smith, Weapon Smith, Handicraft, or Tailor most items are crafted as normal standard white name items, and they all have a chance to proc. For example if your crafting a white named plate boots, it would have a chance to proc as a green named plate boots. Another additional feature in Aion Crafting is that once a certain item has proc’d green, you have a choice to use a better receipt to proc it again into a blue or gold named item with super bonus stats. However if that fails you will at least have the green item.

Characters Designs
I don’t think it has to be said but AionOnline’s graphics kick ass. I believe Aiononline is using Lineage 2’s graphic engine, but with a huge improvement. The character creation is for me personally never before seem on any other MMORPGs, and I have played a fare amount. Starting from what many have called the grandfather of MMORPG UltimaOnline(by the way great game!!!!), Everquest to Lineage 2. With the ability to tweak even the smallest details such as eyebrows, ears, eyes, and much more reminds me of the sims serious. Going off topic “The Sims 3″ was recently released!!! I have played for a few hours, and I’m impressed apart from the zoneless world different from “The Sims 2″ many other changes are outstanding. I won’t go too much into that but I would definitely recommend the game if you need some time off from the online world :D . Anyway back to topic AionOnline character design is AMAZING!!!!

Graphics and Designs:(AION-2)
Ok, so a few days back during the 2nd closed beta I got a chance to test out the game for the first time. Unfortunately I was unable to be on the 1st closed beta.
Anyway, after 2 days of downloading the game, I was on my first character Elyos Scout. From my first impression of the game, needless to say the graphic engine is as amazing as seen on the trailers. The game play itself feels like a combination of Lineage 2 which is a NCSoft game, Guildwar again NCSoft, and Worlds of Warcraft by Blizzard. I’m sure there are other features that are copied from other MMORPGs, but these three stand out the most to me.

Graphics and Designs:(AION-1)
Aion’s graphics are stunning, and since they’re based on Lineage 2’s graphics it has certain realism to it. For those of you who had played Lineage 2 previously you would recognize a lot of similarity between the two games. The two factions Elyos and Asmodians remind me of the Elf and the Dark Elf race in Lineage 2, and in fact any mmorpg game that featured those two races.
Character Comparison
I was a fan of Lineage 2, and one of the reasons why I loved the game is because of the designs. Everything from the character design to the armour and weapon were fantastic, and that is why I didn’t like Worlds of Warcraft, it was too cartoonish for me. The designs is where NCSoft shines, the art work, special effect, and the character movements and everything down to the details are like no other mmorpg I’ve played. If anyone has played Lineage 2 before since beta, would agree with me, as the release of every expansion Chronicle 2, C3 … C5, the armour and weapon designs have been incredibly amazing! Aion is following the path of Lineage 2, and has outstanding designs for armours, weapons, and characters, but the coolest part of Aion is its combat animations and special effects. I can’t even find words to describe it, the combo’s and the skill special effects are amazing!
Character Creation:
I know I make comparisons between Lineage 2 and Aion a lot, well it is no surprise of course after all both games are made by NCSoft. So once you get past the login screen and legal stuff, which surprise, surprise it looks just like the Lineage 2 login, you can now start choosing your faction and create your character.
Answer this, have you ever gotten on google and looked through a bunch of armour images to see how your character would look in them and then decided which race or gender you would pick? I know I’m guilty of that! Now you don’t have to, Aion has a cool new feature which displays all the character class by gender and in ARMOUR, so you know exactly how they would look like in armours.
Ok, so you picked your class, now to make your character pretty :) and that isn’t even a joke. With the Aion’s character design system you can literally tweak almost every little detail, from the standard hair styles, to eye shade, and lip colours. Want a really ugly character, or eyes that almost cover half of your face? No problem, with Aion it is possible. My personal favourite part of the character design is the ability to resize your character. You can be a 1 ft tall midget or a 9 ft tall giant; I chose to be a midget since it is so cool to run around with your character being only 1/4th of everyone else’s body size! If anyone wants to join the group just send me a PM (private message) in game to Stabbiee. One last thing while you creating your character, once again you have the option to preview your character in 3 options, no armour, regular armour, and high grade armour!!
